Why?
The Center for Maritime Systems and Security is hosting this event to show maritime related security products and services working under field conditions on land, and above, on and below the water. The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is holding its 115th convention at the San Diego Convention Center from November 8 – 12. The conference is expected to attract 15,000 law enforcement professionals to San Diego.
This event will be held at the headquarters of the Center for Maritime Systems & Security and The Security Network at 2877 Historic Decatur, right on the Boat Channel leading to San Diego Bay. Companies will exhibit products on tabletops inside a neighboring building and have the opportunity to demonstrate them in above and/or below the water according to a defined time schedule. There will be a "hastily formed network" during the conference. Companies participating in this real time network should be able to demonstrate their products via a meshed-network solution designed to work across platforms and hardware systems.
